Drug rehab offers hope
to those who find themselves
habituated to pain meds.
You may think you’re the
only one out there with
dependence on pain meds,
but you are not alone.
You’ve probably recognized
that you’ve had a problem
with pain relief medication
for a while now. Maybe it
started after surgery, or
a traumatic injury, or
developed over a long period
of time due to a chronic
pain condition.
You probably recognized that
you were taking more and
more medication, trying to
control the pain, and the
prescriptions kept funning
out faster and faster.
Maybe the doctor refilled
them early, warning you to
be careful– that the drugs
can become habit forming.
Sometimes, trying to be
helpful, friends and family
offer us some of their
medication, saying that
they are better or stronger.
Somehow you recognized
that you were taking more
and more medication, trying
to relieve the pain, and
where it came from didn’t
much matter.
Perhaps sometimes you took
more than you needed to… but
there was always that fear that
the pain might return.
Looking at the situation now,
perhaps you feel you need
the meds just to feel normal.
Sometimes we pray for answers,
and solutions don’t come right
away. We want the pain to
stop. We want to not need the
medication. We want to stop
lying to health care providers
in order to get more meds.
It can seem overwhelming.
The doctor gave you the meds,
which now have become a
problem in themselves. More
and more meds bring more
problems. How can you get
out of this sad cycle?
The answer many Christians
have found is Christian drug
rehab.
By surrendering to Jesus Christ,
and by acknowledging our drug
dependence problem with the
meds, the process of healing
begins.
An in-patient drug rehab program
is waiting to serve you. With
medical help and faith in Christ’s
will for our lives, we can become
whole again and overcome drug
dependence
